Der Großteil des weltweiten Biermarkts wird von wenigen Großkonzernen bedient. Fast die Hälfte der globalen Produktion stammt von lediglich fünf Brauereigruppen. Unangefochtener Marktführer ist Anheuser-Busch InBev mit Sitz in Belgien.
